🚆 Southern Railway Apprentice 2025–26 Notification
Southern Railway (SR) has invited applications for 3518 Act Apprentice vacancies. Online application is open from 25 August 2025 to 25 September 2025 (till 5 PM). Apprenticeship training will be conducted at various Divisions, Workshops, and Units of SR.

💰 Salary / Stipend

📌 Eligibility & Selection
- Age Limit: Freshers 15–22 yrs, Ex-ITI/MLT 15–24 yrs (OBC +3, SC/ST +5, PwBD +10).
- Education: 10th (for Fitter, Welder, Painter), 12th Science (PCB) for MLT, or 10th + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) for Ex-ITI.
- Selection Process:
- Selection is purely merit-based.
- Merit list = average of 10th % + ITI %.
- No exam / no interview.
- Tie: older candidate preferred.
- If same age: candidate who passed 10th earlier preferred.
- Application Fee: ₹100 (SC/ST/Women/PwBD exempt).
👥 Reservation Categories
UR (Unreserved): Open to all candidates, no reservation.
OBC (Other Backward Class – Non-Creamy Layer): 27% seats reserved.
SC (Scheduled Caste): 15% seats reserved.
ST (Scheduled Tribe): 7.5% seats reserved.
EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 10% seats reserved from General category.
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): Horizontal reservation across all categories.
