UPSC exam 3 stages me hota hai:

  1. Preliminary Exam (Objective Type)
  • Paper 1: General Studies (200 marks)
  • Paper 2: CSAT (200 marks – qualifying, 33% minimum)
  • Negative marking: -0.66 for each wrong answer
  1. Main Exam (Descriptive Type)
  • Total 9 Papers (1750 marks)
  • Includes Essay, 4 GS Papers, 2 Optional Papers, 2 Language Papers
  1. Interview (Personality Test)
  • 275 marks
  • Final Merit = Mains (1750) + Interview (275) = 2025 marks
